
Ashley's Favorite Beef Stroganoff Recipe
So of course, we have to have a Beef Stroganoff Recipe as we sell beef. Ashley, who works the Ranch Store on Saturdays, loves this recipe. So we are finally sharing it the page for y'all to try too! We hope you enjoy it as much as she does for a great weeknight meal!
Ingredients:
- 1/4 cup butter
- 2 lbs Riverbend Cattle Company Sirloin Steak, cut into 3 x 1 1/2 x 4" strips
- 1 cup chopped onion (She had this crossed out, so I think she doesn't like onions!!)
- 2 cloves garlic, finely chopped
- 1 can condensed golden mushroom, or cream of mushroom soup
- 1 carton (8 oz) sliced fresh mushrooms (of your preference)
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper
- 4 oz cream cheese, cubed (from 8 oz pkg)
- 1 8 oz container sour cream
- 6 cups hot cooked noodles or rice
Instructions:
- In 12" skillet, melt butter over medium high heat. Add beef strips, onion & garlic, cook 7-9 minutes or until beef is browned.
- 1 3 1/2 - 4 1/2 quart slow cooker, mix beef mixture, soup, mushrooms, salt and pepper.
- Cover, cook on low heat setting 5 - 6 hours or until beef is tender.
- Stir in cream cheese cubed until melted, stir in sour cream until well blended.
- Serve over noodles or rice and Enjoy.
