Ingredients
- 1½ lbs Riverbend Cattle Company Ground Beef
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1 medium onion, diced
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 bell pepper, chopped
- 1 can (14 oz) diced tomatoes
- 1 can (6 oz) tomato paste
- 1½ cups beef broth
- 2 tbsp chili powder
- 1 tsp cumin
- 1 tsp smoked paprika
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- In a large pot, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add ground beef and cook until browned.
- Stir in onion, garlic, and bell pepper. Cook until vegetables are softened.
- Add chili powder, cumin, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper. Stir to coat the meat evenly.
- Add diced tomatoes, tomato paste, and beef broth. Stir well and bring to a boil.
- Reduce heat to low and let simmer uncovered for 30–40 minutes, stirring occasionally.
- Serve with shredded cheese, sour cream, or jalapeño slices if desired.
