Slow-Roasted London Broil for Tender Slicing

Slow-Roasted London Broil for Tender Slicing

While London broil is often cooked quickly, a slower roasting method can produce equally satisfying results when done correctly. This approach uses Riverbend Cattle Company London broil and focuses on gentle heat followed by proper slicing to maintain tenderness.

This method works especially well when cooking for a group or when you want a more controlled, even result.

Ingredients

  • 2–3 lb Riverbend Cattle Company London broil
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • Salt and black pepper

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 275°F.
  2. Season the steak generously and rub lightly with olive oil.
  3. Place on a rack over a baking sheet and roast until internal temperature reaches 120–125°F.
  4. Finish with a quick sear in a hot pan to develop a crust.
  5. Rest for 10 minutes before slicing thinly against the grain.

Serving Notes

This method produces evenly cooked beef that slices cleanly and stays tender. It’s a great option for serving London broil in a more refined, consistent way while keeping preparation simple.
