Cube steak is a cut of beef, usually taken from the eye of round, that has been tenderized by being run through a mechanical tenderizer called a cuber.
The tenderizing process makes cube steak more tender and quicker to cook. It is a thin, flavorful, and economical cut, making it a popular choice for comfort foods like chicken-fried steak, Swiss steak, or country-fried steak.
When cooked properly—usually by pan-frying, braising, or simmering in gravy—cube steak becomes tender and juicy, absorbing the flavors of any accompanying seasonings or sauces
- Packaging: packs will contain multiple steaks, can expect 2 - 4 piece per package. The heavier the package weight the more steaks there will be.
